Clarus the dogcow

Clarus the dogcow is an icon in the font family Cairo designed by Susan Kare for the original Mac OS. The icon was eventually used by the Laserwriter printer to represent a printed page's orientation. Sadly Clarus passed away before making it to Mac OS X.

For many years there was a statue of Clarus in the "icon garden" at the Apple campus in Cupertino, CA.
