Electronic Typewriter

A device that attempts to bridge the gap between the typewriter and the word processor. An electronic typewriter is microprocessor based, and allows electronic display of typed material (usually up to a line) prior to actual printout. Additional memory storage and enhanced demi-word processing features are also included on many models.
