Envelope

A folded and pasted sheet of paper in which other pieces of paper or materials can be placed, often for mailing or other transportation.

In computer graphics, an envelope is the outline of an object used by drawing programs. The editing of the shape of an object's envelope allows the object's shape to be changed. Such editing also produces a nun ber of other special effects.
