The Job Definition Format (JDF) is an industry specification for exchanging product specifications using an Extensible Markup Language (XML)-based file format. The specification is maintained by the CIP4 International Cooperation for the Integration of Processes in Prepress, Press and Postpress (CIP4) organization.
