Keyboard Layout

The character complement of a particular type font is the set of characters and symbols which can be output for typesetting. To input these characters you must hit a key or keys on a keyboard. The standard typewriter layout (with changes) is the most common in the typesetting industry. However, there are two important variations:

1. The characters available in the typesetter above and beyond the standard typewriter characters, and

2. A whole different set of characters.
