Ornament

In typography, a symbol or other decorative element, commonly available in supplementary fonts (called pi fonts). Ornaments can be created as additions to fonts (i.e., a company logotype). Borders can be created by repeating an ornament or any other symbol. An ornament is also called a dingbat.
