Production

The manufacture of any product.

In motion pictures, television, video, and multimedia, production refers to the filming or taping of images and/or sound. Consequently, the term pre-production refers to all design, scripting, etc., activities that take place prior to fiming, while post-production refers to all editing and additional processes perfomed after filming. The term also refers to the final program or presentation itself.
