Roll

A long, continuous length of paper or paperboard which has been wound around a cylindrical core to a specified diameter. Also commonly referred to as a web, a paper roll is the form in which paper comes out of the papermaking machine. It can either be subsequently cut into individual sheets or shipped as rolls.
