Scatter Plot

A means of graphing a set of data on a coordinate system by placing a dot, point, or other symbol at the data point. If there is a correlation between multiple data points, a line or curve is drawn that connects them. Also referred to as a scatter diagram, a dot chart, or a scattergram.
