Separator Brush

One of a set of small, brushlike attachments found in a sheetfed press's feeder section that sit on top of (or just above) the paper pile and ensure that the pickup suckers of the sheet-separation unit lift only one sheet at a time. Separator brushes may be supplemented with brushless separator fingers. (See Sheet-Separation Unit and Feeder Section: Sheetfed Offset Lithography.)
