Sheet

An individual, rectangular piece of paper, as opposed to a continuous paper web, cut to a particular standard size or odd size.

The term sheet also refers to a metal substrate greater than 0.006 inch in thickness (a metal substrate thinner than 0.006 inch is called a foil), and any plastic or plasticized substrate with a thickness greater than 0.010 inch. (A substrate with a thickness of less than 0.010 inch is called a film.)
