Single Rotary Cutter

A device used in the sheeting of paper rolls consisting of a rotating knife contacting a fixed knife, which cuts the paper web moving between them. The speed of the web and of the rotating knife determine the sheet size. Sheeting is also performed on a double rotary cutter. (See Sheeting.)
