Thioindigoid Red

An organic color pigment used in printing inks. Thioindigoid Red (classified as a red, but is actually a violet shade) is a red violet possessing high lightfastness, heat resistance, and chemical resistance to most substances. It is a high-quality pigment commonly used in security inks. (See Organic Color Pigments.)
