Aldus Printer Description

An Aldus software file that contains specific information about an output device, such as its resolution, the type of paper utilized, the feed mechanism, etc. APDs have been largely replaced by PostScript Printer Definitions (PPDs). Aldus itself no longer exists, having been acquired by Adobe Systems, Inc.
