Butyl Cellosolve

A brand of ethylene glycol mono butyl ether, a solvent used in many lacquer inks and coatings produced from vinyl or nitrocellulose, due to its high boiling point and low rate of evaporation. See also Cellosolve. Butyl Cellosolve is manufactured by Union Carbide.
