Structured text, graphics and imagery consisting of a document profile (format) and a document body that can be interchanged as a unit between application.

Any package of data structured for informational purposes.

Traditionally, a document typically refers to any paper-based form of information. However, the term today refers to virtually any type of electronic communication generated via computer— including text, graphics, and data files, as well as multimedia data like voice, video, and animation.
