External Drum Imagesetter

A type of drum imagesetter, a device used for high-resolution laser output of digitally-created pages or color separations, in which the film to be exposed is mounted on the surface of a drum, as opposed to within the drum (see Internal Drum Imagesetter). See Drum Imagesetter.
