Foot Candle

A measure of illumination, defined as the illumination of a one candle object at a distance of one foot. One foot candle is equal to one lumen per square foot. In the ANSI-prescribed standard viewing conditions (such as a color booth used for color analysis), the illumination is 200 foot candles. (Also commonly spelled as one word, footcandle.)
