Measured Photography

A means of ensuring the proper illumination of a to-be-photographed scene, accomplished by carefully measuring the level of illumination in all the regions of the scene that will be captured by the camera. Measured photography is performed so as to ensure that no areas of the resulting image will be too dark or too light to reproduce properly. Once called four-stop photography.
