Pen

A mechanical imaging device held in one's hand. A pen images a sheet of paper (or other surface) by means of ink.

In computing, a pen is any graphical input device that transmits coordinate information to the computer and display by either light (see Light Pen) or by moving it on a digitizing tablet. See also Pen-Based PC.
