Phthalocyanine Greens

An organic color pigment used in printing inks. CI Pigment Green 7 No. 74260 is a blue green pigment with high lightfastness and chemical resistance to most substances. It is also transparent and possesses high tinting strength. It is the green standard in most printing inks.

'CI Pigment Green 36 No. 74265 is used to expand the range of shades not covered by Pigment Green 7 above, ranging from blue to yellow. (Adding more bromine atoms to the molecule increases the yellowness of the pigment.) It retains the lightfastness and the remarkable resistance properties of Green 7, though it is more expensive.
