Polyamide

A polymeric compound containing amide groups (ammonia derivatives, chemical formula —NH3) used in fluid inks intended for flexographic and gravure printing processes, in particular for printing on film- and foil-based substrates. A common polyamide compound is nylon, used for screen printing fabrics or as substrates.
