Polyethylene

A plastic polymer, chemical formula (C2H4)'n', derived from the polymerization of ethylene gas under pressure, used as a resin in printing inks. Polyethylene films are also used as substrates in flexography, gravure, and screen printing. In Great Britain, polyethylene is also known as polythene.
