Reservoir

In screen printing, the term for an ink fountain, or the portion of the printing press in which the ink to be printed is stored and gradually fed to the printing screen. The reservoir can consist of simply a portion of the printing screen beyond the edges of the stencil from which the squeegee picks up ink at the start of each printing stroke.
