Two-Sidedness

A paper property that describes the difference in texture, appearance, and printability between the side of the paper which formed in contact with the papermaking machine's forming wire (the wire side) and that which formed on the top, away from the forming wire (the felt side). (See Wire Side, Felt Side, and Fourdrinier paper machine.)
