Adhesive Residue

A sticky deposit remaining on a surface to which a pressure-sensitive adhesive substance has been applied and removed, due to a low degree of cohesion in the adhesive material. The term adhesive residue also refers to the adhesive remaining on a water-applied decal after it has been attached to a surface.
