Albumen

One of a variety of simple, sulfur-based colloidal proteins found in egg whites, blood, milk, and other animal secretions and tissues. Commercially-produced albumen is used as a plate sensitizer in offset lithography and in some photosensitive emulsions used for screen printing stencils. Also spelled albumin.
