Automatic Pagination

In typesetting, the ability of a typesetting device to automatically subdivide a multi-page document into individual pages, within certain defined specifications (such as line length, lines per page, etc.). This ability is often enjoined with the ability to automatically number the pages. Automatic pagination performed without operator interaction is known as batch pagination, in contrast to interactive pagination.
