Back Cylinder Print

An offset printing problem in which a printed image is transferred to the surface of the impression cylinder before a press sheet is in position between it and the blanket. The printed image is then transferred to the back of the press sheet. Interestingly, observation of this type of problem provided the basis for the development of offset lithography. See Offset Lithography.
