Color Retouching Station

In digital imaging and graphics, a computer workstation at which color correction is performed after scanning (or other means of obtaining an image, such as from a color electronic prepress system). The digital file is retouched in whatever way is desired or necessary, and the file is output back to the CEPS or to another output device. A color retouching station typically does not assemble pages, obtain the images directly (i.e., scanning), or output directly.
