Crown

In printing, the difference in the diameter of a printing press roller that exists among certain reference points along its circumference, used as a measure of out-of-roundness.

In binding and finishing, crown refers to the length of the staple that is visible on the spine of a publication that has been bound via saddle-stitching. See Saddle-Stitching.
