Ctrl-Alt-Del

An shorthand means of specifying "Control-Alternate-Delete," a three-key combination used to reboot (or warm boot) a computer, particularly one using DOS or Windows as an operating system. On the Macintosh, commonly the menu option Restart, or a rest button, effects a warm boot.
