Curing

The conversion of a wet printing ink film to a dry one, typically by chemical means or by exposure to various types of radiation, such as ultraviolet light.

'Curing also refers to the hardening and solidification of any wet or gelatinous material, such as rubber, the exposed portion of an acid resist, or other such substance. Curing that takes place at room temperature is referred to as cold curing.
