DIN Connector

A type of connector for computer equipment created according to DIN (Deutsche Industrie Norm) specifications. DIN connectors are often used for the connection of keyboards (for example, a 5-pin DIN connector connects a keyboard to a PC) or other serial devices (for example, an 8-pin DIN conmnector is used to connect peripherals to a Macintosh computer's serial port).
