Dioxazine Violet Carbazole Violet

An organic color pigment used in printing inks. Dioxazine Violet is a strong, red transparent purple possessing high lightfastness, heat resistance, and chemical resistance to most substances. It is widely used in all printing inks and processes despite its expense, by virtue of its vast, superior resistance properties. (See also Organic Color Pigments.)
