Direct/Indirect Process

In screen printing, the preparation of a photostencil by applying a transparent backing sheet to the bottom of the screen fabric and coating the top of the screen with a photosensitive emulsion, which is exposed to a film positive of the image to be printed once the emulsion is dry.
