Emboss Filter

In digital image manipulation programs (such as Adobe Photoshop), a tool that adds shading to a selected image or portion of an image imparting to it a three-dimensional effect, or the resemblance to a design produced by conventional embossing. An emboss filter is often used in the creation of on-screen buttons for multimedia presentations.
