Endleaf

In case binding, a strong paper designed to secure the body of a book into its case. Endleaf papers, also called endpapers and endsheets, may be blank white sheets, colored papers, or they may be printed, containing maps, diagrams, or other designs and illustrations pertinent to the subject matter of the book. See Case Binding. Also spelled as two words, end leaf.
