Fast-to-Light Dye

A substance added to paper which increases the paper's ability to resist yellowing upon exposure to light, primarily added to papers intended for outdoor use, such as posters and signs, or for use under fluorescent lighting, such as business records and packaging. (See Lightfastness.)
