An organic color pigment used in printing inks. Fast Orange F2G is a bright reddish orange possessing high transparency, lightfastness, and alkali, acid, and heat resistance. It is most effectively used in oil-based inks, where high gloss can be achieved. (See also Organic Color Pigments.)
