Ketone

A class of organic compounds composed of a carbonyl group (a double-bonded carbon and oxygen group) attached to two alkyl groups (a variety of hydrocarbons having the general formula C'n'H2'n+1'), such as acetone, whose chemical formula is CH3COCH3. Ketones are highly volatile liquids commonly used as solvents in inks produced for gravure and flexographic printing.
