Laser Disc

Generally speaking, any optical storage medium written and read by a laser. See Compact Disc and Videodisc. The term LaserDisc (one word, capitalized), however, is a trade name of a type of videodisc created by Philips, also known as Compact Disc Video. See Coimpact Disc Video.
