MOS Chip

Metal oxide semiconductor integrated electronic device. A chip that can perform a vast number of electrical operations. A MOS chip one-quarter of an inch square can perform operation equivalent to 6,000 discrete electronic devices. A chip this size has the power and ability of a room-sized computer of a few years ago.
