Narrowband

Descriptive of an optical system or color filter characterized by a small bandwidth, or one which does not allow the passage of a great deal of information, such as light of only certain wavelengths or colors. See also Wideband (first definition).

In telecommunications, narrowband is used to refer to any communications facility which can handle up to 200 bits per second. See also Wideband (second definition).
