Off-Line

Descriptive of binding and finishing operations which are performed separately from printing process or from each other, as opposed to in-line processes.

In computing, the term off-line refers to the state of a computer, network node, printer, etc., that does not have an active connection to the network, controller, or other system. See also On-Line. Also spelled as a single, hyphenless word, offline.
