On-Line Editing

In video editing, the assembly of a videotape production using a fully-equipped editing console (usually an A/B roll as well as other equipment). On-line editing is often accomplished by means of an auto assemble device operating in accordance with an edit decision list. On-line editing, more meticulous and expensive than off-line editing, results in a master tape.
