Plasma Panel

A type of computer display comprising a grid of electrodes enclosed in a gas-filled space. When a difference in electrical potential is generated by adjacent electrodes, the gas in that area is ionized (the term "plasma" refers not only to a component of blood, but also to ionized gas) and emits light. Also known as a gas plasma display.
