Pyrazolone Orange

An organic color pigment used in printing inks. Pyrazolone Orange is a yellow shade of orange, is somewhat opaque, and is resistant to acids, alkalis, soaps, waxes, water, and heat. It also possesses high tinctorial strength. However, it has poor flow characteristics, and often fails to print well. Although suitable for many lithographic, gravure, letterpress, and flexographic applications, it is frequently used in liquid inks to print packaging. See also Organic Color Pigments.)

Also known as Permanent Orange G ('CI Pigment Orange 13 No. 21110').
