Real-Time Animation

In computer animation, animation that will consistently play back at the frame rate set by the animator or programmer. Whether or not this can occur is a function of the speed of the processor on the playback system, as well as from what medium the animation is played back. For example, RAM-animation, or an animated sequence that fits in the computer's RAM, will come the closest to the ideal of real-time animation.
