Rubberbanding

In computer graphics, the act of connecting two anchored points with a line, "grabbing" the line at some point along its length with the cursor, and stretching the line, bringing the original point to a new position. This can either be done in a drawing program, or on tone lines and gradient curves that control the density and contrast of images in image processing programs.
